Subs: Telford and Popov for Acquah and Newby
Don't let the old man in.

Gillingham had a player in front of him he couldn’t get off his line. The goalscorer ran in unopposed from edge of the box

Sounds like their keepers made a few decent saves to be fair

He has made some good saves in the second half one from a Campbell shot was excellent. That said he hasn’t looked comfortable on crosses

Acquah quite possible the worst striker I have seen in a barrow shirt in recent times offers nothing.

I think Telford is possibly worse. I've struggled to see what he's offered in games this season. I'd imagine he's on double what Acquah is on too.

This shows our squad isn't quite as good as we thought it was

No Farman, Naz, Gotts, Spence, Mahoney. Probably all starters

My post after the Chelsea game.

Telford is a huge let-down for me. I don't see what he contributes to the team. Can someone tell me? Came on for the 2nd half last night, can't remember a pass, a shot or barely a tackle, same as other games. He's certainly not been a prolific goal-scorer for us - last season just 4 goals in 38 appearances. And being so small, heading is not his strong suit - not what you want for a supposed goal-scoring forward. At times he seems lost on the field. Not surprised he's keeping the bench warm. I'd loan him out.
