For me the National League lacks strength in depth. TheY have around 10 clubs who who can compete but the rest is pretty poor IMO
Its not as strong as it once was and financially I doubt any other side in the National League will be able to compete with them
If having cash was the only problem they shouldn't have gone down in the first place! I agree that they should be among the favourites to come back up, but they will need to spend a bit more wisely than they did this season.

They have spent anywhere from 10/12 million so far on facilities & players, If Lummy is right, They were really panicking dishing out 3 & 3.5 yr deals to a mixture of Championship & L1 crocs, lower & Irish league prospects but due to their results had to offer silly money to convince them to sign, often 3 times their wage.

This leaves them with a bloated squad of serial losers on mega money for NON LEAGUE FOOTY.

Who in their right mind thinks they would be a good signing….they could really struggle to shift them therefore can’t replace them unless they pay them off at 75% plus their full contract then Pay out large again for all the replacements all while probably changing their Management & Boardroom levels & sorting out training facilities etc, Could go either way.

Wonder if Trumps Tarrifs might have an effect in the near future as import/export has fell off a cliff internationally & logistics/trucking companies are currently struggling with the drop off so it’s bound to effect their owners cash flow isn’t it 🤔
