Players we might be interested in....

For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

I am struggling to understand why anyone should think we would be interested in a left back/left sided midfielder.

He would have had to become a free agent before the previous transfer window closed

But as has been said he can tho sign for National League and lower clubs here and a small number of foreign countries who allow its clubs to sign them on loan or often on Non-contract terms

not sure why you're laughing - she's better than any of our strikers last season... and can score headers unlike most of last season's forwards.
She's at a better level relative to where she's playing i.e. in womens' football.
However, she wouldn't get a kick in mens' professional football level.
Because the England women's football team got beat 12-1 by Chelsea under 18s men team in a friendly shows.you the standard.
But no media coverage of that game for some reason hmmm.

Not sure what you mean. That's Pete Wild talking.

Yeah, I listened to the Simpson interview later, and that's what he said referring to us in the transfer window. The firework-throwing incident was another example of his disability in his attitude when it comes to mentioning Barrow.

Well why should he be bothered in what we do, his focus is on his own team - the same as Pete Wilds focus is on us. I’m very sure Pete isn’t sat in his office pondering on who Carlisle may be signing in January

Yeah, you're correct-why should he be bothered, I'm sure he's not but sometimes it's not what you say, it's how you say it.

Pete wild just confirmed we are very close to signing Rory Feely who he describes as a quick centre half who can aalsi play right back. He has already been over from Ireland to have a look at the set up at Barrow

His name is now out in public, so hope he's not snaffled up by another club.
