The players (the majority of) aren't good enough for what we are aiming for so why are they here?
Long unbreakable 2 year deals Hoss.

How arent they good enough for this league? We will not get relegated with this squad of players or this management team.

I wouldn't be too sure about that steeley. I haven't seen anything to make me feel safe.

Just a thought,
Maybe 'they are here', because the budget isn't as good as what we might think it is.
After all, Edmo is used to operating on a shoestring budget.

...apart from that time we bought the league last year with players on £700 a week.

Was it in the evening mail about this £700 a week, or maybe the matchday programme.
Not being funny but, I haven't seen any wage figures quoted anywhere apart from on here.

When one of our senior injured players signed for us ,all his mates on twitter kept congratulating him on his new wage with emojis of dollars and pounds. The figure was quoted there.
Im not saying this is the source of the information, merely an indicator

We will be at least fighting relegation if personnel don't change and that's not good enough.

I think it is, we arent a top half Conference club, havent been at that level for a long time, and just because we have some cash that doesnt make us so. Same as Fleetwood arent a League 1 level club, that pipe dream will come crashing down one day according to all the Barrow fans that went on about them when we were playing them, just like ours will unless we build a club that can sustain the level were at.

Steeley,
I agree with a lot you say but not the repeated mentions of Crawley/Fleetwood. Some people probably do expect that (wrongly) but you mention a sustainable club (rightly)...the club is a business when all is said and done and we (as paying customers) have expectations of what to get for the money we hand over. Yes...there is a core fanbase that'll go whenever humanly possible for them but there are floating fans who really despise paying £14 to watch hoofball. I've seen stuff on social media slating the team after a win FFS. We as Barrovians love players who'll put their bodies on the line for us and/or can entertain the fans. Last time we were in the Conference we would've been delighted to be clear from the drop zone, unfortunately the takeover has heightened expectations (mine included) and people are just getting fed up of negative approaches to games regardless of the opposition. IF Edmo did go and someone new came in with a different (positive/attacking) philosophy then we would certainly see the crowds go back up.

Thats fair enough, reasonable expectations, but just thinking we should be challenging for promotion is ridiculous.
Imagine if we went up, we have no club staff, a website we cant update, a 6th former running our social media (no disrespect to that person) , no customer service what so ever, random tents and bogs cropping up in the ground and disappearing, no sustainable segregation, a ground thats falling apart, stewards who cant even handle our own fans, police who actively target fans they have problems with (not addressed by the club as far as i know, even after Edmo's #SexistGate), an empty club shop, NO PIES, and directors going to the press with absolutely outrages goals for the manager to achieve like were the chicago bulls.
If anything its the club that need to catch up with the footballing side of things.

on the basis of marks out of 10
Footballing side in terms of what is being offered entertainment and effort wise on the budget; 4
Non footballing side of things; 0
Both are appalling but better than no club at all.
