Massive confidence boost today, we created good chances against Solihull on Saturday including two 1-on-1s but failed to convert. Today we bagged 3 chances and even had one ruled out among others, will do them a world of good even against a side struggling like ourselves. Need to tighten up at the back though, been hopeless at that end all season. Need to keep in touch with safety and today went a long way towards that.
Other teams in the relegation fight...
Oxford 1-0 Gloucester City (Oxford pulling away with an early 6 min goal, putting Glouscester in trouble)
Solihull Moors 1-1 Worcester City (Worcester snatching a point late on, 84 mins, keeps them 1pt above Barrow)
Stockport 4-1 Bardford PA (Stockport rampent today, Workington go there on Saturday)
Barrow's next opponents at home won... Altrincham 5-0 Stalybridge.
Both teams directly above Barrow also play each other on Saturday Worcester v Gloucester. Another big day for the clubs at the bottom.

Never EVER in twenty seven years of following BAFC have I see so many police looking after one non leaguge game, what a waste of tax payes money & police resources.
Back to the good stuff, what a lovely change to see see us going for a win even at 2-2 instead of trying to defend a minus 2-1 score!! full credit to Edmo for that. Jamie Allen was a turning point IMO
Forget the win, our defence is still atroucious with the midfield not much better - we simply cannot think, or expect McMillan will save us time after time, shocking defending & as bad as I've ever seen here.
It must have hurt Wukkiie hearing Barrow suppoters singing "we're Barrow soccer & we'll take who we want"
Fair play to Jacko who never celeberated his goal.....might have been awkward with him coming back here next week.
Announced on radio the Kyle May was "taking a break from football" how long for, a week?
Really good pub beforehand, thanks to Barrow_fan chris for the directions.
2-3 win at our rivals on boxing day with their (ex) favourite player scoring the winner........thats what it's all about

Get in there, what a result what that was! Very average game, and the pitch didn't help, although I thought that was the main reason we got our second goal so can't complain. Workington had good spells of possession and at times we couldn't get it out of our half. On the counter we looked impressive, having a couple of goals ruled out offside. Well taken goal by Jacko, good to see him getting in some form
Workington fans embarrassing on their home ground, giving us their end. Absolute laughing stock. Barrow fans were excellent, singing throughout.

While I never went today I am of the opinion McMillan is part of the problem.

Maybe Rockerlad will be our next recruit as he spends more time on our forum than his own!

Well, decent day.
edit. juvenile haverings.
As to the game, we were very lucky to win . At 2-1 them there appeared to be one winner, couldn't believe it when we equalised and I do think the support staying with it played a part/ When we scored at 2-2 they imploded and gave away the pen.
Don't be fooled we are any good, but lots more people battled.
An important win now lets get summat from Alty then do the Wukkies again.
BARRA BARRA etc

Thats why those of us who are still going are sticking with it. Moments like that third goal don't come around very often, special.

Absolutely.
Or the first....or second!!
Fantastic day out & the lads never stopped singing & supporting all game, still on a high this morning.
I'm not fooled into any sort of feeling of any corners being turned....far from it but I hope yesterdays result can help persuade a few to give it another go.

Great result which at the end of the day is all that matters. if they can scrap a few positive results together hopefully the quality will improve as their confidence grows. If we are to get out of this mess it aint going to be pretty at times.
A small step but an important one.
