The "tent"
Re: The "tent"
I sent jamie reid pictures and ideas of under the stand and a range of options from other grounds bars and wzs briefly thought about pre season nothinb came of it apart from growls from spirit for potentially giving the workshop away

Ode to the tent
So farewell old tent , you served thee well
The hogroast fumes no more do smell
Ticket sales they gave a fright
But filled our sponsors with delight
What was a fabulous marquee night
With summer gone and Autunmn near
To large a space for half time beer
Your true potential we,ll never see
With your bare green floor and nowhere to wee
A bar and fridge is all that remains
Just 2 round tables with bottled becks stains
One day in september you where whisked away
We,ll see you in League 2 some day!!
sorry wintergreen

On the contrary, it was pithy and topical with a soupcon of melancholy yet showcased an upbeat final stanza- very good indeed. I'm currently working on an epic piece about Ivan Mauger's Gold Plated Speedway Bike which was famously displayed at Holker Street in the 70s but at 94 pages and as yet unfinished I think I may have to (Cont Pg. 95)
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Bromley had a marquee the size of our former beer bar marquee and they utilized it as a Kiddy zone. I didn't go in for a look but was told it had plenty to keep the youngsters happy with activities and the likes and was doing a thriving business with plenty organized. http://bromleyfc.tv/site/match-day-party/ They also hire it out non match day!! http://playzone.bromleyarena.co.uk/

Their bar had 9 screens up too...mind, there were lengthy queues and they ran out of decent* beer well before kick off.

Yes.
Not too many more though, the place was rammed so the main area was standing, there were tables down one side I think. Didn't go in the club shop, before you ask
