I wouldn't mind Grimes sticking his foot on the ball but he seems to have made as many appearances as Shergar, total waste of money.

Funnily enough Grimes has always been down as an attacking midfielder.

Something which weve lacked for the whole of Edmos reign.

It's time Wilson was released
I've heard that Wilson was paid off on Tuesday night after the Grimsby game.

Just need the same thing to happen with Grimes, Fofana & Pilkington (Reluctantly, but too injury prone).
There was a buzz going around after the game that wilson was released from his contract, However in todays mail, states hes struggling with a groin strain for saturdays game

[SwearFilter] that, Grimes is one of the best footballers in the squad, ridiculous how Barrow fans completely dismiss any players who can actually stick their foot on the ball, and much prefer [SwearFilter] who just leg it around the field, just because they look like they are trying harder.
When the new manager takes over, you might see the likes of Grimes become more of a feature in the team. You never know, the lad himself might respond to this, and become a pivotal player for us. Stranger things have happened.

Fingers crossed. Its no secret Edmo has favoured tacklers instead of footballers, especially in central midfield, I like Lacey and Cowps personally but its criminal that ARH cant get a game ahead of them.

Thats right! . All our central midfield players are pretty much Ball winning midfielders or defensive midfielders, hence our complete lack of goals from central midfield.

Lacey
Fofana
Cowperthwaite
Mellor
Ray-Harvey

Between all of them there has been one goal and it was from Cowperthwaite. Thats in all competitions aswell.

At least if we still had Sam Sheridan we might have some free kicked goals to our name.

The biggest miss of the season was Andy Bond by far.

Mentioned our centre midfield goals a bit ago.
I think it was 9 in total last season.
Edmo never allows them to get forward, we never have extra men in the box.

More chance of Brad Pitt starting than young Carroll

really good idea that leaving a big hole in the middle of the park. Especially with a suspended player at right back

Is he suspended? I didn't catch that. Cowps would be the one to move in and out of that hole.If Cowps has to go RB then Lacey could do it.
