I think there's a name on the back of the shirt Nigel!! ;) Or maybe he was in the Street where the shirts have no name.

It's the good old boys and family network again and that includes why PL is chosen. The bloke in the picture I think is extended family.

Those who wear replicas will be fed up and it's silly not to listen

We still, haven't found, what we're looking for. :(

Never heard something so stupid.

And what you're asking is for Casson to turn down a few thousand quid in sponsorship, just so a handful of people can pretend it's the 70s when they buy a kit (which, incidentally, would still have the PlayerLayer logo on it).

I Didn't say Advertising doesn't work!
I was focussing on Football Shirts. READ my past posts and ASSIMILATE!

And if you also care to READ you'll notice that I'd already stated that I was talking about a few shirts being produced for those who wish to buy one without an advertising logo. Durh...

The primary reason in advertising is to raise the image of the advertiser (in this instance achieved)
The secondary reason is after you have noticed then you buy the goods
I used to work in Media Advertising. Our clients were far more interested in SELLING their product.

NWEMAIL wrote:The design – which has been finalised – has yet to be officially unveiled, but the plan is to do so at the start of June, with the shirts being stocked in the Holker Street shop and on sale by July 1.

Once again, they will be manufactured by Player Layer after signing a one-year extension to their arrangement, although Casson hopes a longer-term deal with a kit producer will be finalised for future seasons during the season.

“We have renewed with them for one more year,” he said. “We have put some language in place for them and for us, and as we go across the season we will be looking to sign a three-year deal to help take the club forward, hopefully into League Two.”

Im off to Fylde! [SwearFilter] this shit!
Good.

If that's the case why would Walkers waste money on sponsoring football shirts if it didn't generate some form of return? You've contradicted your original stance.
