Just goes to show there is no loyalty in football but why should there be?
Most will go to the highest bidder. Hope this shocks Casson into giving Cox full support otherwise he will be gone.
From what i was told, the only reason he didn't go was due to Hartlepool not being willing to buy out his contract. There are plenty of clubs who will.

I think this stinks quite a lot.he,s either committed to us or he,s not.the fact that he talked to them suggest he,s not.as as a fan I like him and IMHO believe he could be the manager to get us promotion, but if he stays surely it makes signing players and keeping players a hell of a lot harder if he was willing to jump ship.just my opinion folks

Have Hartlepool have overlooked this buy out clause? If buying out his contract was going to be a stumbling block then why even enter talks with Cox?

Cox meanwhile, How does this affect things. If he's talking to other clubs is he stil fully focused on Barrow. If not why not? This episode has raised questions which Casson will need to address with Cox.

Thoroughly agree. If he was 100% Barrow he would have swiped off any approach that came to him.

Could understand if it was a league club but for a club in the same league , its a bit of a worry.

Totally agree hennysknee,but the fact he was willing to speak to them doesn't bode well IMO.still as most people no money talks in football so we'll have to wait and see what happens. As I said before I honestly think he could get us back in the football league but we could do without this

Didn't Barrow give him permission to speak to Hartlepool, it's not as if he asked to speak to Hartlepool, from this I would like to believe he is still focused on building a team to compete for next season

He'll go but he would have gone anyway whether Hartlepool were turned down or not. The fact is that any player or any manager will go to any other club which will pay more and/or they see as more attractive.
