Welcome to the managers job MM. I hope you can prove people wrong and make a success of your new role. I will be there supporting the team whatever happens

Just say no to VAR

Re: Mickey Moore New Manager
Very uninspiring. Moore seems like a good bloke, and you can't blame him for applying for the job, but the club have been so short sighted on this, just screams of the cheap and easy option and that statement is just a downright lie, never mind sugarcoating the truth...
Knew this was coming but a little bit of me did wonder if maybe the club would read the noises coming from all sides of the support, clearly not.
Do you reckon they even interviewed anyone else or were just trolling us making everyone wait three weeks to announce the assistant as the manager...
Sub 1000 gates for the foreseeable. I'll be there and back him but the club is at the flattest it's been since Casson took over, lots of good work and feel good factor wasted the last few years.

Re: Mickey Moore New Manager
Emotions are raw...tempers are high...come Saturday there is a team on the pitch to support. MICKEY MOORE'S BLUE & WHITE ARMY!!!!!
Re: Mickey Moore New Manager
Panicked. Gone a month or so without a manager so panicked. Made a decision that was easy for the club to make and was cheap for the club. I've heard many fans say to Andrew Casson in person that they don't want Moore. Nice to know the club listens to the supporters. Going to be a long season

Re: Mickey Moore New Manager
This is the same chain of events that happened at Blackburn Rovers.
New owners come in > Replace staff with friends and family > Sack manager who is doing a good job in search of "better football" > Appoint coach with little managerial experience from within.
I hope we end up with a better result than what happened to Rovers... I'll still be going and supporting but I'm bracing myself for relegation and it's only September

Re: Mickey Moore New Manager
Having seen the last 2 games at home against the bottom 2 and only picking up 2 points I'm really struggling to see where there next points are coming from & the lack of tactical nous is very very worrying indeed
Just my opinion
Re: Mickey Moore New Manager
Chester fans are very bouyant and upbeat with their appointment of manager, whilst we are mostly uninspired and fearing the worst. Let's compare after ten games and see where the land lies then.
Re: Mickey Moore New Manager
Uninspiring appointment to say the least but he'll have my full support and will from 95% of the regulars I would like to think.
Stating the obvious here but the Casson's need to come clean in terms of what the direction is. That statement seems to say the complete opposite of what is actually happening at the club, and it just seems to me they are living some form of fantasy.

Good luck MM, looking forward to the higher than 7th finish now.
The constant broken promises & disrespectful lie ridden comedy statements are for me worse than the appointment.
