How Brutal a cull does it need to be???

For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

Ady was supposed to be telling the players who is going on Sunday
Read Andrew Cassons interview with the mail, stating they are going to be more systematic and Ady is working on the retained list and why we are keeping them.Surely it's obvious who we are keeping ,very few.
The budget looks like it will be slashed.
Decisions neeed to be made on players and a settled side needs to established asap.
Think we are going to be in for another bumpy ride!

You could have that opinion that being more systematic means the budget’s being slashed. Or it could be lessons learned from previous seasons not to spend all the budget in the summer on a half completed squad like in pre-season 17/18 and end up relying on youth loans when depth is required.
Popular side since '03.

DO you reckon any of the players thought they would be signing on for a club that would be on the third manager . No physio and various directors and heads of recruitment who have left.

Everyone can all bellyache about where we fin8shed but we did do well on the last few games to stay up

Watching the play the onmly difference is we couldn't score

We do have basis of a decent team. To suggest we bin all of them shows either stupidity or a lack of football knowledge

Build on what we have

We lanquished in 18th-21st for the majority of the season. I'm struggling where that basis of a decent team is? We had 2-3 players who shone. The basis of a decent team needs to be a lot more than that.

2 or 3 players who were loan players not on a Barrow contract.
Not many contracted players shone.

We have become de-sensitized over the season to what a good player looks like, for example lots of people are rating Gomis and want him to stay - I think he is a terrible player. He runs cluelessly into trouble by wanting to take an entire team on before lunging into a desperate tackle usually as he tries to beat a third man; we then give possession or a free kick away.

He makes Rutherford look live Zidane - so its another no from me (one of many).
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Basis of a decent team ?

Who would you count as decent ?

Moussa, Gomis, and Jones are the only 3 I'd consider keeping on.
