I'm gonna miss Harry 'The Net Ripper' Panayiotou.
His ratio of 1 goal per 581 minutes was vital to our survival this season.

Really surprised at the released lads. Harrison don't want to play for us anyway. Gomis will be the big loss and as for Makoma [Expletives]. Pannyato would have been a better choice. Jones will come back and haunt us.
Some people’s reactions amuse me so much.

pretty much as I expected on the "Cull" thread, with the exception of Gomis - but that may be him requesting to leave.
An early signing of a decent centre half might show our intent and help persuade Moussa to stay. It's been rumoured for a couple of months on one of the non league forums that we had offered Ryan Astles a 2 year deal - he'd be a good start
Astles has signed for Southport FC .

Can"t get too worked up about the likes of Jones and Gomis being released. They only looked relatively good compared to some of their team mates, and I wouldn't call them any more than average at this level. It should be possible to find better. Main problem could be trying to blend so many new players into a team at the start of next season. Older fans will remember Norman 'goals will come' Bodell!

He brought a load of players in
We need to get them in early and get organized

If Makoma was a Barrow lad, those doubters would be raving about him. He's a kid FFS - he had several very good games and some pretty poor ones. He'll be playing at a higher level than this for the majority of his career, and a solid start to next season could even bring us in some money.
Good coaching , good prospect. Good addition to any squad imo.

Southports' assistant manager is Jon McCarthy his former boss at Chester. Apparently 'negotiations' have been going on for weeks.Southport have also signed former Carlisle keeper Dan Halford. Seem to have come into money and going for it.

Liam Watson returned as Manager for the 3rd time. Purse strings have been opened up again for a go at the title.

Should have stuck with his previous job as a male model.

His injury time pen to equalise away at Solihull was vital.
