Oh dear, why does there always have to be one.
To me, INTEGRITY matters, maybe not to you.
Integrity ?
You mean the type Boris Johnson or Prince Andrew has?
IE has to do what's best for himself .
How many times do you hear people have been poached be it in Industry or Football..
If someone wants to leave they will luckily he is sticking with us.
People have short memories and if we were in the bottom three they would want rid of him.
No such thing as loyalty unless you are reading Mills and Boon

That total clown from fylde is getting exactly what he wants with this.
We will never fully know what happened, but I know if someone offered me a substantial wage increase I'd at least listen to the offer.
Bottom line is he is still here and appriciate him while he is, draw a line under it I say

Haha, integrity - and there you are siding with the man in this situation with absolutely no integrity at all.
Absolutely NOT siding with DH.

What he said publicly was totally out of order (even if true..)

But when did '2-wrongs make a right'?

IE is/was on Contract to Barrow AFC and the Chairman of the Board specifically denied permission for Fylde to have discussions with our Manager (BCC Oct 14) which they both dis-regarded as 'Behind the Goals' correctly said on Jan 02:

"So how the hell did Ian Evatt have serious discussions with the AFC Fylde owner if he is on contract with Barrow AFC and did Paul Hornby give permission (NO) or did he go behind his back (SEEMINGLY SO)

Truth matters.
At no point has anyone said that Fylde didn't speak with Evatt - it says he had "no interest" in speaking to them.

He has admitted that big wages were put in front of him, so there was obviously some contact at some point, but the rest is all down to who you believe - Evatt or the known liar, Haythornthwaite? Personally, I don't believe for a second that there was a "handshake", and all that really matters is that Evatt has turned them down to stay at Barrow because he wants to get us promoted. I'm not sure why you seem to be willing him to be caught out.

We had some serious discussions with Ian and thought we had a deal agreed, only for him to renege twice and stay with Barrow. I was very disappointed at the time and it made me once again realise what a very different game football is, and how a handshake is not a handshake. Sad, really”
What a bellend he is, and hope they go down and he pulls out the knob

Just put your wooden spoon away mate and enjoy these great times we're having at our club at the moment.
