A lot of us have pressures on our finances right now, I get the point of view from the under 21s but i am guessing a lot are either students or still living at home with parents
No we fully understand, not all are apprentices or students.PerthBluebird wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 10:41 pm Can someone tag lewis from the club to word the statement better on the website as the young lads are miss reading it and potentially not buying due to thinking the price is so high when it is nt
If whats said above from another poster and you apply as a concession the price is 247 but its not clearly stated so we dont knowLewisBAFC1901 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 10:54 pmNo we fully understand, not all are apprentices or students.PerthBluebird wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 10:41 pm Can someone tag lewis from the club to word the statement better on the website as the young lads are miss reading it and potentially not buying due to thinking the price is so high when it is nt
I think it was a concession for the 18-21 young adult age group in the past. Its a valid point, the hike from under 18 to full adult is steep and the 18-21 ticket price band we have had previously was a good mid point. I can understand the board trying to maximise ticket revenues from the reduced capacity but this is an age demographic that we have preciously struggled to get in and by making it as affordable as possible helps that.Moribund wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 11:20 pm It isn't so much a price hike, as a huge discount last season. Not sure why the 19-24 bracket are any more deserving or in need of a huge discount than, say, 25-30. Very few other clubs do that. Some offer a discount for unemployed or recently employed, which makes more sense than just an arbitrary discount for an age bracket.
Ours are probably the cheapest tickets in the league, or there abouts. Just be grateful you got an amazing deal in 19/20.
They're complaining because tickets were £25 for under 18s and £75 for under 21s - so that was a vast leap to the £250ish it cost for adults (not much of a mid-point).Jonty wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 11:39 pmI think it was a concession for the 18-21 young adult age group in the past. Yes I get the argument too that its not as clear cut as that....
That’s £4 a week, just cut out one visit to McDonalds a week and your sorted, stop moaning about it and get it bought.LewisBAFC1901 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 10:21 pmPrice of promotion, a £229 hike. Only a few months ago it was all about the future, lost a good amount of money tonight by doing this. Yes it’s a jump but to say they’ll lose a lot of money is unlikely. If one in every 4 of those buy a ticket, the cost is covered.LewisBAFC1901 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 10:21 pmPrice of promotion, a £229 hike. Apparently not, which is stupid. Especially if there attendance restrictions when new season starts.
