The main signing we need sorting is the Manager and backroom staff.
I imagine it's sorted and will be announced after the Exeter game.

Id imagine Evatt would be also keen on a few of our other players he knows. I suppose with being a Barrow fan we have to get used to enjoying our talents while we have them.
I doubt that. Most have struggled in League 2 and Evatt now needs players for League 1.
Not quite Greeny, they have to beat Crawley first.

He’ll be a sought after man.

Can’t sign any which are under contract due to the embargo that was written into the deal which took him to Bolton

I think the minimum we have to do is to hang onto the spine of our team.If we to.lose Scott Quigley,Joel Dixonsnd Rob Kelly decided to move on I think we would be in serious trouble as a team.I for one do not to go through another season of upevil like the one we have just been through. Thanks to Rob Kelly we made the Great Escape. He agreed to take over a second time, when the team was in a mess and the threat of relegation was hanging over us.Thanks to him he managed to form those players into a cohesive unit. It,s not always been pretty but got the desired result. What people need to realise is that a lot if our new players had not played competitive football for most of the season. To criticise Devitt is unfair. He has made some great contributions to our results. We need to keep the these players together for next season and add maybe another striker. We need to start the season with a settled format and move forward. So come on everyone get behind your team and give them a chance. :scarf: :scarf:

if Quigs went it wouldn't be for peanuts so if these things happen so be it , Dixon can be replaced and I'm sure the manager decision is already made !DON'T PANIC!

Evatt will be wanting a keeper familiar with how he sets his teams up. Goalkeeper has been a sticky position for them this season, Crellin was a walking mistakes and Gilks isn't getting any younger.

It's almost like Evatt signed those as short-term cover while he waited for his man to become available...

Don't think so. They had high hopes of Crellin as he was an England Youth international and I think they would have tried to sign him permanently at the end of his loan but he turned out to be a disaster. Gilks has played well but because of his age they will be looking for another goalkeeper. Players generally have more loyalty to a manager than to a club although their loyalty to money is the top of the list. I would be very surprised if any of the players who played for us under Evatt, wouldn't go to Bolton in a flash if he wanted them and they were out of contract. I would be surprised if he would be interested in any of our current players other than Quigley and Platt and, apparently he can't sign either of those for next season. I also wouldn't be the least surprised if Rooney ends up at Bolton although Stockport's very rich owner can probably offer him more money than Bolton. I suspect Evatt would also have been interested in Lewis Hardcastle in different circumstances.

John Rooney won’t be joining Bolton

I’m Matt Platts biggest fan but he’s done absolutely nothing this season to justify a club spending what would be a decent transfer fee on him tbh

If Bolton get into L1 I'd be surprised if they go anywhere near any of our current or ex players. Would've thought they'd be building for another promotion.
