That's exactly what a goalkeeper should do, If you don't like it take your rattle and yourself somewhere else.Holkerbird wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 10:08 amWell to be honest he did my head in. Very much so, don’t think he stops bellowing out orders for the full 90 minutes
He will get caught out if he continues to do that against more able sides.
Stay where you are supposed to be.

Our first League Cup win since we beat Workington in 1969!
Re: Barrow v Sc****orpe match thread
Shit! First one in my life then. Cool.
So, we can draw a big side next round?

I will remind you of that when he gets lobbed and we go a goal down.
Seems you are in control over who can speak on here and attend matches.

The rattle was only used twice.chipmunx wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 10:12 amwell i was sat 2 rows behind you and I could hear Farman over the noise of your rattle - so the players probably could hear him....Holkerbird wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 10:08 am

The difference is the players are concentrating on what is in front of them and more on what is coming from the management than his orders.
Could you actually hear what it was he was saying or just the general noise?
Lobbed goals are the thing at the moment.
Please introduce yourself on Saturday as I like to know who I am speaking to . Chipmunx doesn't exactly do it.
Or do you prefer not to be identified with your comments?

A shame this is developing into an (unnecessary) spat. Some goalkeepers (seemingly Farman included [who had an excellent game]) like to be very vocal to keep their own awareness/alertness/readiness at a peak throughout. Arguably it helps the defence as well.Holkerbird wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:49 pmThe rattle was only used twice.

Yes a few of the faithful haven't got their usual seats for various reasons.
The cellar has one candidate already---,he just doesn't know it yet. He is on trial.
Upon Paddy's release he has now taken up professional boxing and has his first bout next month.
Re: Barrow v Sc****orpe match thread
Defenders (I know I did when I played) always prefer a vocal keeper warns you of opposition attackers etc etc They are the eyes of the defence. Mind you I often chose to ignore the keepers advice at times! Often led to some interesting conversations with them. One thing a keeper always did when he let a goal in was blame the defenders - never their fault. So if Farman gets lobbed it will be your fault Holkerbird for not warning him
