Looks like we will be limping to the transfer window..... Oldham will be a test by the looks of things.

The rule in any league is not 'if you have 3 players with Covid then call it off'.

Tranmere two shots on target, two goals. Barrow nil shots on target.

Spot on. Premiership games called off because of a handful with Covid in squads of 30-plus. Ridiculous.

The difference between top and bottom sides is having players who can take on and score half chances.
It’s frustrating because we have tried to take the game to Tranmere second half but that doesn’t win games. We are terrible in front of goal

Toothless Barrow. No decent forwards. Zanzalas a waste of space. Missed Platt, Brough and Banks.

Having those three out has not cost us this game today.

We have to win Wednesday but Oldham look as if they're going into administration anyway, regarding today don't understand why beadling or Arthur didn't start in defence it doesn't make sense and if Arthur is that bad then who decided to sign him ?

2 weeks ago we'd have been happy with 3 points from this and Swindon

It wasn't great, but not rank bad either. We had a few players who weren't 'on it' today. Cooper had a difficult task to pick a team due to players missing and a couple of the ones available at least, wouldn't normally be considered. Tranmere only really created one chance all game, but they did a really good job on us with their pressing and determination.

Apart from the missing players, I don't think the long lay off after Ipswich has helped. We were fired up and playing well, had the balance of the team just right and we have lost the momentum.

I didn't think we were second best and thought we were worth a point, more because neither side offered much as an attacking threat. Their first goal was a ridiculous goal for us to give away (though looked offside), always tough from there but Tranmere offered nothing else and the second came from nothing when we were showing some glimpses of creating the odd opening ourselves.

What I was impressed by was Tranmere's work rate and organisation. They're far from the best side we've played, but on that showing they are the most well organised and hardest working.

Where we are concerned, take Platt, Brough and Banks out of our side against anyone and we're always going to struggle. Especially when you're replacing them with Mike Jones and Jason Taylor, neither of whom did much wrong but they're hardly like for like replacements.

Frustrating afternoon but I'm not too down about that showing under the circumstances.
