There wasn't a poor performance out there today. The difference from recent months was unreal. To highlight somebody out of a great team performance though...Gotts was a different level. From minute 1 he was everywhere.

Ridiculous, totally ridiculous. Given how bankrupt we have been for months in terms of goal-threatlessness who could have seen that coming against the league-leaders? Anybody sufficiently long in the tooth to have been watching us over the past 121 years must be weighing that result up as being in the conversation for the most unexpected scoreline we've ever registered in our history. Manager's interview with Adam: had all 24 players at training on Wednesday, all wanting to play; full of praise for Connor Brown's attitude in training and on the pitch; attitude of the whole team; 7 or 8 could have been MoM; Amadi-Holloway now training more with the squad than just 1 day. Seemed to suggest that Brown, Rooney and Holloway would be first on his team sheet because of their desire and ability.
None of the injuries - Grayson, Kay or Brown - is serious, mainly cramp so tried to protect them
