The game will not be replayed. Technically it’s up to the EFL to award the points to Salford, which they will. We are safe.

FORZA BLUEBIRDS , what a result , so happy for the team and the fans and the town of Barrow. Let’s finish the league as strong as we can and build for next season. Can now start planning for my trips over next season , Wimbledon and Salford away look good to me. Have put the beers in fridge and will be toasting you all tonight. Bluebird forever.

On Final Score they're saying Oldham game could resume with 11 minutes to play. The EFL, they say, will want it finished today.
Don't let the old man in.

Typical just say that happens and Oldham win that would be a farce I'm sure the EFL will not take these actions lying down, anyway well battled today barrow some strange decisions today from the referee their penalty was a blatant tug by brown but we should have had one and was the ball over the line ?but we'll done I honestly thought we were dead and buried 3 weeks ago !

Remember some of the stick the club was getting with Rooney being signed on this forum? 8 goal involvements in 15 games and the club has just clinched survival for another year 😂🤡 absolute class was convinced it would go down to the wire with the fixtures we had but phill brown has turned it around. Not sure how you can’t give it to him now?

Genuinely think we have a decent core of players here, our problems have been glaringly obvious this season and phill brown has appeared to address these by taking 7 points off teams going for promotion. A few more additions and I don’t think we are far from pushing on into mid table.

Who ever is in charge next year hope we have a proper go of establishing ourselves as a fl club, proper budget, proper preparation and push on. No more excuses and little old barrow mentality, plenty of clubs smaller then us thriving in leagues in and around us 👍

If the EFL don't award the points to Salford.... it sets a precedent of well if you're losing, chuck your fans on the pitch at 80 minutes and have a replay haha

Out of our control what happens there.

Let’s just celebrate what was a magnificent gutsy second half performance which got us a great win and surely sees us safe. Every player was outstanding second half and showed everything we want to see in a Barrow performance.

I need a lie down after that

Less said about the ref the better.

Elated... Any more information on what caused the referee to delay the game? If it was for racial abuse from the home crowd isn't that the second time this season? If so hopefully only a (small) fine will be the punishment.

Hallelujah! Relegation avoided an another season in EFL2. There is no way the EFL could allow Oldham to replay this match. Either the result will stand or only the final few minutes will be replayed. Not only Barrow but Salford would take action if a replay of the complete match was allowed. I suspect there could also be a points deduction next season and/or a fine for Oldham as well. I'm afraid we could also be facing a fine if racial abuse is proven!

Some very good performances on the pitch today. Platt back to his excellent best, Canavan and Brough also and another very good performance from Holloway.

Absolutely 0 chance the Oldham game will be replayed. It would open the floodgates for fans to pile on the pitch with 5-10 to go because they didn't fancy the result. Result will stand or it will be 3-0 Salford.

Or they'll get the fans out of the ground and play the last 20 minutes.

All good points made. I’m all for Brown now. (Hands up- I wasn’t when he was first announced- I groaned) but he has given these players an extra 10% and the belief that was missing.
