Ash Hunter has spent lots of this season out injured and most morcambe fans say what a disappointment he has been, wouldn’t go there

Released by Salford only got one year contract at Morecambe. Started only 10 league games this season substituted numerous times 3 games on the bench. I wouldn't touch with a barge pole personally. They have however released Left back Liam Gibson part of their promotion winning side 6ft 1 26 years old. Deffo one to consider IMO

Looking at the players released by morcambe then the one I would look at would be Liam Gibson as a Brough replacement, had a solid season, played lots of games and not injury proned and played in a counter attacking team in league one and held his own and don’t think he would be that expensive

Be a great signing I think. Morecambe fans think he’s great in midfield where he seems to play most his games but equally capable of left of a 3 or full back. Has been promoted from the division before. No brainier.

Can see Chester striker Kurt Willoughby signing on a free roo

Liam Gibson was players player of this season, so guess he meets " a nice bloke" criteria

Danny Johnson released by Mansfield type of striker we could be looking for. Averaged a goal every two games on loan at Walsall before being recalled by the Stags, a move which apparently he wasn't very happy with.
