Where Will We Finish ?

But I want a top three, which is still possible.
I know we've "never lost at Wembley", but everything is still in the lap of the gods....

Plus getting through to a Wembley play off final will put the club about a month behind others in recruiting players due to the uncertainty of the league playing in next season.
That seriously affected Carlisle last season.

Because Barrow is ideally located for any player in the UK isn't it.
Saltcellar is 100% correct, it's difficult to recruit players if you go up via play off and you're 3 or 4 weeks behind other clubs.
Training in Manchester won't help you either.

We've had our wobble, time to get back on track tomorrow and start a clean slate on just push, fight and chase for the remainder of the games..we can do this, it's ours to make a pigs arse of it but this current crop have something about em and they will fight tooth and nail I'm sure!!

Nah, it's cack we didn't get the reaction and response we all wanted but hey, we are still there and still within a chance and until that chance is mathematically impossible, we should all still believe!
It's been an unbelievable season so far and no matter what, as a club and supporters, we should be immensely proud....as we always are!

I still think top 3 because it's still doable and our new boy is only just settling in..

What we didn't see Tuesday was belief and passion.. let's get it back ASAP cos we are where we are because we are good enough.

We have all chased rainbows for many many years and now it's different, we are now here and still battling for that right to go up another level cos we are bigger and better than people want us to believe!

Enjoying the season, it's disappointing for sure when we get beat but hey... Let's not loose sight of the task in hand and what we have in front of us!

It was hardly a recipe for recruiting even if they had gone up automatic.
Barrow on the other hand have had a recruitment team along with recruitment analyst in place for the last 18 months, a sporting director who knows how to do deals, we train in a great location for attracting players with decent facilities

Congratulations on training in Manchester and having an army of recruitment personnel.
But like every other club in L1 and L2 you'll make good and bad signings, that's football, so your training location makes no difference.
Back to topic, as an outsider I think Barrow will finish 7th. You've got a decent points gap over your rivals and I think you'll sustain it and make the play offs.
Looks like Bradford City could be pushing for a late promotion charge too.

The training location makes a massive difference to us. We wouldn’t be able to attract the quality of player we currently have if we trained in Barrow.
Your own manager Paul Simpson said only recently that players don’t want to move houses and uproot families like they did years ago hence why Carlisle have renovated the houses they have to a high spec and are looking for other properties in the city for players to stay in during the week. Barrow have a similar arrangement with a property used by players In Manchester

Think it’s very interesting to look back on our predictions for this season. 15th, 14th, 10th… and we are currently 5th! I am by no means denying that our two recent losses to Morecambe and Swindon were poor, but this team has gone above and beyond what pretty much any of us expected this season. We can and (I believe) will make the playoffs. We can mope about it on here or continue to support and push the lads as much as possible. If we win Tuesday, we are right back in it again.

There's a difference between where people would hope we would finish and where they believe we will finish!
