I've pretty much been ganged-up and beaten-up over my Proctor opinion. Like to remind you all that he wasn't signed for his hold-ups, flick-ons, etc. which are all well and good, but as a goal-scoring
Striker. That hasn't happened (1 goal - no assists in 13 games) - ditto Garner (2 set-piece goals in 18 games) and our 3rd Striker Acquah last scored in mid-Oct, nearly 3 months ago. These so-called Strikers are not 'fit for purpose' and our goals are coming from non-strikers, Whitfield, Telford, mid-field and defence. Why are so many on this forum pleading we sign a 'Striker' this month? I rest my case. PS: I was at the game in the Stand.
'Ganged up' and 'beaten up'

what an absolute wet wipe

I would have given Mazeed MoM today. I thought he was excellent. I was surprised Proctor made the second half because his first 45 was so poor.

Quick reminder that we won today!
Wasn’t sure on the tactics beforehand, but absolutely spot on. Well done Pete Wild/Adam Temple. Everyone played a part today, and thought it was an excellent win against an in-form Tranmere side.
We’re adrift in 4th in League 2, 3 points off the top. Let’s just enjoy it, eh?!

You are a fcuking pain go and have a pint with Desmond 2-2

He's been signed as part of the squad, as has Telford, Aqua etc. They all play their part, and while it would be all so snuggly buggly to have a 25§ goal a season striker on the books (Mullen £13.5k a week) it's about what you bring to the party on and off the pitch.
For what it's worth; and I'm sure you'll put name right, but I thought Proctor did ok today. Battled hard with their 2 CH, didn't get a lot of service and hasn't played much football. I'm sure Pete will take your comments on board and have a stiff word Monday

It’s easy to jump on someone when they’re struggling, but who do you think performed well today?
It’s important to highlight this also, who was your player of the match today?
Dean Campbell with his fantastic goal was the difference between the two sides today, but I thought Kian Spence was immense. An incredible engine, and seems to be everywhere. For me, he’s our player of the season so far.

A very happy car going down the M6 tonight. Some fairly long faced Tranmere fans at the Lancaster services. Yet another set of entitled supporters who feel they shouldn't possibly be beaten by Barrow. In fact we haven't beaten them in a home league game since 1969 so I did loudly mention that at the services when I found that out - very funny. In fact walking past one of the Tranmere supporters coaches one of their fans slapped his mate round the head - they must have been very upset.
For me Mazeed was MOM but knew Campbell what get the nod with that goal which looked even better of the highlights. Poor first half pretty boring but as my grandson said its still 0-0. Thought Proctor got better as game went on but Feely looked quite uncomfortable today. I personally was delighted with over 4000 but I really do think the greater Barrow public should take note that this is a good football team and would enjoy coming along to games. On here we are preaching to the converted. Agree with that stupid car in the car park behind the popular stand - what was that about?
So I get in the car turn on RC and my grandson who is eight also made a comment on why is there not more on Barrow. Literally from 5.32 until I almost reached the motorway five minutes or so before 6 it was all Carlisle. If an eight year old can work that out then it says it all quite frankly.

Well I'm 53 but tuning in from 5 I have no complaints. An interview with Pete Wild, an interview with our goal scorer and even magnanimous comments about Barrow from Carlisle supporting presenters who still had to drive home from Devon on top of a defeat.

Let’s play Nigel Adkins bingo. If your card has “wonder goal” and “well organised” you win.

Aye and “we live in the land of the Giants” gave one lucky winner a full house

He started off well tbf but cliche soon took hold and it very quickly became white noise.
