I get the feeling that the midfield players are struggling to adapt to frequent cjhanges in formation. It is a while since we have seen Spence and Campbelll play as we know they can. I know it's the modern way to change formation to match the opposition's strengths and weaknesses, but to a luddite like me it seems that a settled team and formation for a few games (injuries excepted) might help.blue nige wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 1:20 pmTo be honest Aqua has done better than Dallas runs everywhere and gets nowhere, how we miss Whitfield!, in January we need if possible to sign a right back, feely is crap and Eccleston is good going forward but has no awareness defensively!
This formation is crap it stops Spence from playing his normal game saying that hee desperately needs a goal looks a shadow of last seasons player !

Re: Accrington Stanley v Barrow, match thread
Would have kept Dallas on and taken Aquaman off
Re: Accrington Stanley v Barrow, match thread
Someone take a shot ffs this walking the ball in is atrocious.
Re: Accrington Stanley v Barrow, match thread
I said this in the summer that Whitfield’s goals and assists, plus Stockton’s goals would be a huge miss and they’ve not been replaced. Without those two we wouldn’t have even limped towards the end of the season with a chance of the play offs we’d have been well out.blue nige wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 1:20 pmTo be honest Aqua has done better than Dallas runs everywhere and gets nowhere, how we miss Whitfield!, in January we need if possible to sign a right back, feely is crap and Eccleston is good going forward but has no awareness defensively!

Not sure where Kouyate but he’s not the answer and the forwards are a worry. The feeling here is people don’t really expect us to score now after going behind which is a worry. Time for someone to step up and make a name for themselves.

After 80 mins. 70% possession but NO shots on target. FFS.
Telfords on - that'll make all the difference....

It's our final third and a shit ref that's holding us back!
Actually playing the ball around very well, it's like we are frightened to cross or pass forward
