We’ve played 3 of those 5 games away too. Had 3 clean sheets and only conceded 2 goals. MUCH stronger defensively than where we were.

Read into it what you will, but it coincides with MJ Williams returning to our starting XI. Also much better in the midfield since Harper returned too.

During Half time of the FGR game.
If they can tear themselves away form commentating an former players parade on the pitch. FFS.

Higher up the pitch? We've been through this.

I'm kinda glad I was out of radio reach this afternoon. It was bad enough getting the occasional check-in to the BBC Sport app. Brilliant result, up to 15th and looking up the table now.
Don't let the old man in.

That performance has done no harm at all to Stanways standing in the game, probably one of the stand out keeper performances from a Barrow goalie I’ve seen.

Lots of solid performances out there today but special mentions to Whitfield (what a coup bringing him back) MJ Williams, Raglan - who is getting better & better and of course Harper.

Heartbeat is just returning to normal….

I suspect it was more Gordon Bennett, than George Bennett, from their point of view.

On 23 May 2024, EFL League Two side Barrow announced that they had signed Stanway to a professional two-year contract, with option for another year, for an undisclosed fee.
Offer him an improved contract tonight……He will certainly go up the leagues & we should finally get a decent deal….2 million minimum & a future 20% sell on fee

Could well be, but to be fair to Andy Whing, players returning from injury is helping.

Let’s get Stanway nailed down so that when he does go we get a big payday. How long is he signed up for at the moment?
Want Andy Whing to do well but bringing Rob Kelly back was the catalyst.
To me he is the hero ,he turned it around last time.
He must be one hell of a motivator but his experience will gain respect from the players and he will be able to lift players.

I thought Shipley's first booking was poor from the ref, he got the ball and a bit of the man after the ball which happens a lot normally its allowed to play on but the ref thought differently unlucky in my opinion the second was both players tugging at each others shirt, again unlucky.
