Funny old game football but you never know what might still happen - I was resigned to relegation last Saturday had a bit of hope after Tuesday now resigned to relegation.

Loads of mistakes this season made - recruitment poor / badly run club / poor mentality / players training in hats and coats some taking the [SwearFilter] earning big money. The owners have had there bottoms spanked but can only blame themselves they have failed to establish us in the football league and appointed people into positions they aren’t capable of holding.

Absolutely. The early kick off clearly didn't put the sponsors off from getting stuck into the hospitality.

In my 57 years I've never seen such a shower.
The team ,the Management have been totally inept.
No pride,no spine stealing a living.

That was disgusting today, in a must win game!

Only one team wanted to win.

Walsall, who have nothing to play for.

We are finished, and we deserve it.

Non-league, here we come. :x

Crushed. Went to Shrewsbury and Fleetwood and the performances there were bad but today particularly the period between their first two goals was at another level.

Walsall have not won here since god knows when - we were their bogy club they'd lost 4-0 at home to Cheltenham. And we go and put in a wretched performance like that. Saw Cambridge on Thursday night - it will be double figures down there if we put in another performance like that.

We have given the initiative to all our rivals but quite frankly, and this is the first and only ever time I will say it this season, we don't deserve to stay in this division. 48 years of hurt and we are going back to the abyss. I suppose the only consolation is that this old man saw Barrow in the EFL for 6 seasons.

Yes I'm totally crushed by todays events & that includes the alleged racist remark it does is no credit if it is true.

We aren't getting back to the football league any time soon. Back where we belong.

That was a simply a surrender today. Can't make the Newport game so furious at such a weak minded performance in my last ever EFL game.
Popular side since '03.

We looked jaded can only think Tuesday’s game took too much out of us.

1 decent effort in whole of first half and we sky rocket it over the bar!
All 3 goals conceded were all poor defensive errors!!!
McCann MOTM ???????? Stanway by a mile kept that score down.
Rose shooting right at the keeper the turning point in the game as it would have been 2-1.
Newby looked good until we moved him to the left and Mahoney was absolutely shite !!!
Scored our goal way too late, very very poor performance today, would have been happy with a point today. Literally hoping teams around us don't win today or next Saturday because we'll get sod all at Cambridge and need it to go to last game of the season 🙏

No, we should have been totally pumped up for it. No excuses, it was as bad as it’s been. The players shrunk out there after the first goal and Walsall never had to get out of first gear. I don't hear any of players or coaching staff encouraging or urging the team on! The fans tried early on but they need a spark to keep going. When we needed it more than ever, sadly like so many games this season we’ve not done anywhere near enough to win a football match.

Why do we persist with having 11 back for corners? We concede over and over again from it.

If we are down before the Newport game we should boycott the game let this shower see what we really think.
Feel for Foley stepped in but when he is interviewed he is like a rabbit in the head lights and I think because he cares it's dragging him down.

Well 3 [SwearFilter] poor goals conceded again, spoke to PJ Daly after the game and he was as crestfallen as me !
We've struggled all season with either Whitfield or Barkhuizen at wingback so why do we continue to do us ?
We were out run /out fought over every inch of that pitch, wyll kept us in it or it could have been 6!

There's something seriously wrong with the squads mentality if we can't get up for a game that can more or less make us safe!
They looked as though they'd just met and played like it !

So so disappointing!

Men against boys today. Shambles all over, from the complete lack of effort to the lack of pies just after kick off...sooner forgotten the better. The break in play stopped all of out momentum. Be lucky if we are in it by the Newport game

Stanway was my MoM today. He kept the score down.

I just don’t know how we can give ourselves a lifeline Tuesday night only to follow up with that display today. All the hype, all the build up, but we were like total strangers out there. We really missed Josh Gordon’s energy and chasing things down, but that is one player. Who stood up, who was leading it out there because I never saw one player encourage or direct a team mate. When we went one down we never responded. We were completely flat and devoid of any fighting spirit and that is the story of the season.

It will be a footballing miracle if we avoid the drop now.
