I thought I would hang fire and read all the reports and views regarding their second goal but they are mixed and so I'm none the wiser. At the time I saw no danger as a slow, weak cross was played in from the left (their winger must have done well to keep it in play at all, as it looked as though the ball was going to go over the touchline) and couldn't believe it as moments later it was in the back of our net. At the time I thought Taylor or Cowps would be in charge of the situation but obviously not. I'd like to see some footage to see if any blame goes to either of our players (as some on here suggest) or whether they were blameless (as others suggest). All I can say is it looked a soft goal from over on the Wilkie side but maybe it was a combination of my ageing eyes and a misleading perspective on the cross.

I'm suprised we didn't sign another left back on loan when NWA sadly got injured

Just watched highlights. Still think as I did yesterday the ref missed a foul in build up to three second.
Lacey perhaps lucky with a yellow for his foul. But that ten bookings now so a ban coming up.
Some of our shooting is terrible

Another thing not really to do with game. I was watching the little children taking penaltys at half time from the bar. Looked like they were all enjoying it.
Why does one of the staff go in goals for this? We have a goalkeeper who didn't play and was at the game.
Surely it's better for these little lads to say they scored past Tony Mcmillan rather than "I scored against the ginger lad who does the warm Up"

If we go on and win the Conference North title this season we will have truly earned it the hard way! Oxford more than matched us for all but the final 15mins as we again struggled against a side that chose to play direct and take the game to us! It made for an entertaining game of football at Holker Street with Oxford finding space on the counter attack time and time again. The substitutions proved to be a master stroke saving a game that in my view was looking like slipping away from us and lady luck smiled on us as Fylde also drew their game.

We have got away with it the last few games, but today we never. Definitely 2 pts dropped

IF we go up, we definitely need to sign a keeper with better command of his area, better with crosses and with better communication skills in my opinion.
Neither are a patch on Danny Hurst I'm afraid.

Danny Hursts contract is up at the end of this season and the County fans are desparate to get him tied up for next term as they see him as their player of the season by a mile.

Decent keeper Danny but shouldn't be looking at former players in my opinion.

We need even better than his calibre if we want to thrive if promoted.

Looking at the highlights I was mistaken about Burnsy being fouled before their second, no foul just down to defensive misakes. The foul by Lacey looked quite bad (I had that wrong as well on Saturday) very lucky not to get a straight red.....poor referee helping us out there.

Hopefully this means Shez will come in and take his position at CM, where he should be anyhow.

Paddy Lacey is suspended for 2 games commencing the 28th March so misses the home games against Bradford Park Avenue and Stockport County.

I shouted out to him that he should concentrate on taking the ball next time and he had the cheek to give me a death glare!
