Hows he whinging its just a simple question, think Edmo said last season he prefers to have outfield players on the bench as it gives him more options so he doesent have a sub keeper if he has somebody on the pitch who could go in goal in an emergency.

cheers harry not whinging at all top class today just wondered why no sub goalie bit risky this day and age and paddy 71 bet you never even went today as graythwaite nick says 'some fan'

I might be be reading your question wrong, but paddy71 was there today , i saw him, in a tent.

What a great result today! To send the high flying and previously unbeaten Eastliegh home empty handed, banished a lot of the Halifax woes. Paul Casson proving to be the lucky omen once again, having never witnessing a defeat when he has been in attendance. I thought once again Dixon was faultless, Mellor had a great 65 minutes before fading understandably due to his efforts, and Jason Walker worked tirelessly with Cook up front. George Williams improves every game he plays, so plenty of positives. We nearly got a speech out of man of the match Haworth , until someone saved his blushes.
Ever hopeful that those that get to Braintree witness our first away points!

Agree apart from Dixons slight error when he clattered the forward after misjudging his advance - thankfully the ref was happy to give him just a yellow!!
Signs of the side we could be today... Mellor MoM for me ..

I thought we played quite well today, first half especially. Second half they were the better team and to be honest apart from the pen and an effort on the post i didnt think we were ever going to score. I wish PC was breathing on Edmos neck every week!
3 points and we played half decent football. That'll do x

Good shift put in by all. Dixon is now commanding his area. Faultless this time. Thought Eastliegh were quite dirty and we had a Referee so weak the Tea lady would faint. Constable showed his team mates what professionalism is all about. Was unlucky to be booked. Should have been a sending off for the penalty. The Dutchman is now getting game time and looks promising. Hope Newby gets a start one day. Nearly scored at the death. Fofana is a worry..didn't do a lot but then didn't give much away.
Impressed all round and now the job of up up and up.
