In actual fact Steve, it's the goalposts that don't change "Come on "Motty" (Adam) sort yourself out"barrowaberdeen wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2017 4:29 pm Jesus if Panayatou is the answer I despair, Mind you, Adam 'the net's don't change size' Johnson growing his own cliches haha. They'll be right up there at the end of the season, not ideal but it's not a hammering is it

Thanks all for the kind words regards our coverage today.
The reason behind the "strange" song choice was because he is a local singer who has a charity concert in aid of st marys hospice tonight at the coro hall and radio lonsdale have been supporting him so hence playing his song

Re: Today's game vs the Daggers
Gomis was excellent today as were ARH, and Diarra. Dunne looked pretty solid and Yuseff had a good second half - very strong, quick on the turn and caused a few problems.
In my opinion, White was awful.. Doesn't look mobile and seemed to jog to close down the defenders. Didn't look interested and not saying he isn't and obviously this is just one game. The game changed for the better when Cockerline and Harry P came on and the last 15 minutes we were excellent piling the pressure on their defence who had it so easy in the first half. Also, Audel got done too many times by their number 10 in the first half but the whole defence seemed comfortable in the second.
I disagree with a comment earlier that Barrow deserved nothing from the game. In my eyes they had the first half we had the second and a point would have been the fair result on the balance of play.
Cox won't be too disheartened by that performance, especially with the response from going 2 down. I feared we may roll over at one point but we managed to stay in the game and should have nicked a point.

Re: Today's game vs the Daggers
Commentry said Gomis was awful. Could'nt trap it, pass it, and never tracked back. A bit better later on. Two completely different views. One, an unbiased commentator and summerisers opinions, and another from a well known biased fan perhaps !Mark Johnson wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2017 9:07 pm Gomis was excellent today as were ARH, and Diarra. Re: Today's game vs the Daggers
Radio Cumbria? Gomis broke up the play alot, was tracking back and seemed to be all over the field. Their midfielders hated him. There was one occasion where he did get caught in possession and it lead to a half chance for them but apart from that he didn't put a foot wrong from what I saw. Man of the match for me.GTBLUE wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2017 9:13 pmCommentry said Gomis was awful. Could'nt trap it, pass it, and never tracked back. The commentator has no agenda against us. We have coverage of every game. Do you want it stopped? just because you and other [SwearFilter] heads don"t like the truth. He just says it as he sees it for the fans who can't go. So does the guest summerisor.Mark Johnson wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2017 9:18 pmRadio Cumbria? Gomis broke up the play alot, was tracking back and seemed to be all over the field. Re: Today's game vs the Daggers
Poor first half, daft penalty to concede when 30 seconds earlier you've been spoken to about having your arms wrapped around their fella.
Better second half.
There'll be teams who get walloped at Dagenham when they are at full tilt, never mind containing players who have barely kicked a ball.
Great off the field organisation by Dagenham as usual although at least the National Front graffiti has been painted over.

Re: Today's game vs the Daggers
Someones been at the cherry. I like many others appreciate the coverage Radio Cumbria give us and have allways give us,my one problem is the negativity that andy wood spouts for 90 mins about everything and every player for Barrow. Today his summeriser, who was excellent disagreed with woods's negative comments on many occasions.GTBLUE wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2017 9:39 pmThe commentator has no agenda against us. Wow, 0-60 in two seconds there! Where has he mentioned wanting the radio commentary stopped.
Also, they never said "Gomis is awful and can't trap" etc. The co-commentator even mentioned him when he was deciding who to give man of the match (for the record, they went with Jones) - the only negativity towards Gomis was that he gave the ball away that ultimately led to their second goal.
