Very pleased with this appointment. Credit where credit is due the board has learnt from the Moore mistake. Time to kick on and consolidate in this league.

Very good, now get behind the team, and stop typical Barrow sniping. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS

He's picked up on our fitness levels and the way we are set up, having being at the Ebbsfleet and Chester games. Like the way we've done business here. Off the radar and he's seen the task ahead.

I've just spent an hour at the ground with Ady Pennock, Paul Hornby & Andrew Casson. He seems like a very decent bloke and can't wait to get going, although Neill Hornby will be in charge tomorrow but Ady said he'll probably be running up and down the stand barking out instructions... :D He now has two weeks to get to know the squad before the next league game.

I asked him how he feels about fans Q&A's and he said "I'll do one tonight if you want"....I think we'll arrange one for either next week or the Friday before the Macc game as that gives him time to assemble some of his backroom staff who he will bring with him.

I feel like I normally do before the first game of the season.....the excitement is back.
