Hmmm.

We’d do it online, the poll would get hijacked by bored Bae workers and we’d end up with the Barrow Braves coach getting the job.

It was also mentioned by Andrew that Ady Pennock and Jamie Day were the best management team in the league or at least up there with. Until we decided we were going all cloth cap and whippets that is!!

If the rumour I've heard tonight is right of a local manager being put in charge then it's a [SwearFilter] disgrace.

We are making signings without a manager? With all due respect, is it not normally a manager who has the say in the players he wants to bring in. This is exactly what happened the last time Ogden was here.

Sorry I thought it was. Why did I get the feel that Ogden was tasked with bringing in players and Cox was to manage them and clearly it didn’t work out.

Exactly, we have been down this path once already with the same rhetoric. The only changes are the cut in the budget and no established manager in place this time. It's the managments job to bring the right players in within a general agreement. We have a chief scout at the minute but surely he should be working alongside an established mananager to highlight and pinpoint who exactly is required within our means.
If said manager is in place already with a public announcement in due course then all well and good luck. But otherwise there will be plenty in need of convincing, even the blind like me are becoming more sceptical.

This is where I am with it right now. Get the manager in post and start building the team.
