Aye, if there’s talk of restricting attendance to 30% of capacity, it doesn’t make sense not to have an appropriate limit on ST’s. Not that we’ll sell 2k, I wouldn’t have thought.

Id imagine selling anything close to 1000 season tickets would great anything over that would be fantastic when you think where we have come from really amazing turn around over the space of a few years

I don't think the issue is overall season ticket sales. It's just the main stand. If we sell over 300 and we're limited to 30% then it's going to be an issue.

Have the clubs been given assurances that the season won't start without 100% capacity? It felt like the tweet about 'the only restriction on sales is the capacity of the stadium' was implying that.

I expect the covid 19 appointed officer will attend to them problems and any social distancing measures

Price of promotion, a £229 hike. Only a few months ago it was all about the future, lost a good amount of money tonight by doing this. Sad to see.
That’s £4 a week, just cut out one visit to McDonalds a week and your sorted, stop moaning about it and get it bought.
exactly

I think we would have to sell a lot of season tickets to get close to the 30% ground capacity that is rumoured to be coming in. Im sure our ground once improvements are completed is close to 5000 max so we do have around the 1700 mark for attendances and we wont sell 1700 season tickets, although that would be good for the club. The prices are a bit of a hike from last year esp the kids ones as im paying for 3 under 18s, where as last year i only had to pay for an under 16 and mine so its gone from £290 to £559. Its a lot and i can see why people might not be happy but we are now a football league club, we are doing a lot of work to the ground and the salary cap is a lot higher in EFL2 so we can attract some good players if we have the funds available. It'll be worth it just to get back to watching footy again and esp if we have a great season....

Hornby said other night he thinks attendance will be around 6200, although presumably away fans (in non Covid restrictions) would get say 800 of that?

Even better if 30% rule is in place as we could have around 2000 in the ground but we were getting more than that for a few matches last season. Not many teams would bring 800 (probably Carlisle, Morecambe and Bolton) and im sure they have mentioned the possibility of no away fans yet

Carlisle and Bolton capable of bringing many more if allocated the tickets.Morecambe? Hmmm.

Taken from sky news today..
David Carpenter, chairman of the Berkshire Research Ethics Committee, which approved the Oxford trial, said the vaccine team was "absolutely on track".
He added: "Nobody can put final dates... things might go wrong but the reality is that by working with a big pharma company, that vaccine could be fairly widely available around September and that is the sort of target they are working on."

Be nice to get an armed forces discount too, Theirs a few navy in town and plenty in the army who’d be home on leave and go to games - like I used to.

Given the potential start of the new season is nearly 2 months away i would be very surprised if limited attendances say 30% capacity was not allowed. Given the virus is in retreat (nothing in Barow since June26th) i am sure a limited number of spectators will be allowed to attend maybe with face coverings from some time in September.

Got tickets to a top flight polish match on Saturday with 11,000 fans in the stadium. Won't be far off in this country having limited numbers in.
