This Hartlepool commercial manager we have had just said Thomas has looked an assured confident player since signing???? Is he wantching the same games as me ffs? If that’s true (and there’s no proof either way) then MJ wants his arse kicking. Why would any club take a 19 year old on untested at this level and have to agree to play him?
He might be a good prospect but to throw the lad into a struggling, relegation threatened team is just madness.

Platt (when fit), Jones, Brough, Hird and Nthle are all better than Thomas or Davies! The only decent player that's been brought in is Eardly!

Jones, ntelhe, Hird, Wilson, Brough. Plenty of other centre backs to choose from who look more assured, stronger, and more experience to bring to a relegation fight. Even Jason Taylor at a push. Haven't seen Donohue do much so far to warrant Kay being on the bench. Long ball to Luke James hasn't worked on account of the lad being knee high to a grasshopper. Zero shots on target again.

Now's the time for pure guts and fight. Come on boys.

What a truly dreadful side we have turned in to. At least we were playing decent football earlier in the season. Now we are playing 4-4-2 and hoof ball. Only similarities are the mistakes at the back.

What's the punishment if we don't play him though? They take him back? If he's that bad he can go back

Same old problem, no penetration whatsoever, need to give the new lad up front a run, saying that we need a bit of creativity to get the ball there in the first place.

Salford beat Cambridge 4-1 last week and were all over us in last game until the final 10 minutes so did we think we'd turn up and out play salford ? They've had 1 shot all game because of a shocking mistake at the back. I'd give it 20 min then bring Kay and Njolie on and just go for it ! Hardcastle is not playing as a no 10 for me - always too far back

I could put up with this approach if it was going to help us grind out the results we need to stay up, but somewhere in amongst it we've got to be more creative going forward or else we just wont score any goals.
