He can't be blamed for this year's training venue

Echo what others said. Thought we played well yesterday but lacked a finisher up front. When zanzala is back we should hopefully see a difference but then we still need someone who is going to get 15/20 goals a season. Surely we are looking at possible loan options.

Off the field, loving the changes I saw bits during last season at the 3 games but the away end looks decent and well contained (who takes a flare to a friendly though!). Sausage rolls are over priced still at £3 and burnt. I understand now that some of the queues were due to being let down by agency staff so take back my earlier comment (it was still poor though!) if the hospitality manager read this (I think he said on the podcast he reads the forum). Feel free to drop me a message and if I can help out on odd games I can try and help if I can - I’ve also got a personal licence which may help!

Well done all involved, still a way to go but we will get there! Roll on the start of the season!

Then at the end of the season we moved to somewhere out towards Bury….which is also not good enough so we’ve been training at Witton Albion.

Is that right? Is there any other patch of grass in the Greater Manchester area I’ve missed?
Egerton is not deepest Cheshire just a stones throw from Junction 19 on M6. Witton Albion is deepest Cheshire.

It was only the bottom, was pretty crisp where it had been in the water I think. I have had worse to be fair

Agree with your comment. £3 for a sausage roll is too much.

Correct.
As a matter of pedantry;
“ A LEAGUE Two football team have settled into their new training home in Knutsford this week – more than 100 miles away from their home ground.
Cumbria club Barrow AFC have struck a deal to train at the home of non-league Knutsford side, Egerton FC – who sit seven divisions below Barrow in the Cheshire League Premier Division and, more notably, 109 miles away on the map.”

:lol: Too much time on my hands! Seriously though wonder why we have moved again. Egerton seemed to have good facilities although I'm no expert. Can only presume the Bury centre has better indoor facilities? when its ready of course. Presume that was one of the reasons we went up to Scotland the other week.

Witton Albion (Northwich) is only 6-7 miles from Knutsford a journey I made workwise for 10 years.Little more than a quarter of an hour even at a crawl so little difference.

Huge chance he won’t see this so if you’re genuine why don’t you reach out to him personally on SM…Nice offer by the way 🐦

Danny Newton can't of impressed, he's just joined Solihull.

You know this how? Take it we’ve better lined up then if that’s the case as it’s clear we need a striker in through the door.
