Yet another game where we've gone behind and can't even muster a draw, getting to the point of it being completely unacceptable.

Wild's been critical of referees in the recent games and there were reports of penalties being waved away tonight but to be honest bad decisions or not I'm tired of listening to those excuses. I'd much rather hear about what we are doing to arrest this slide into the lower half, because even with decisions going against us we just don't look like getting even close to winning matches.

Warren, much as I hate to say it, looks completely out of his depth. Won't rehash what's been said already. Suffice to say the first half was woeful.

Better second half but can't recall any clear cut chances on goal. Surely now, we have to start with two up top, either in this shape, or a 4-4-2, or a 5-3-2. Too often we're lumping balls forward to a solitary forward against 2 or 3 centre halves.

Massive respect to those that travelled 👏

well what would you like him to say, that we played better in the second half for example after changing their shape, or is that to positive for you?
I just feel it's been all too often recently where he's having to make changes to his system and personnel to get anything out of the players on the pitch. Isn't that what the planning and analysis of opponents is for. Slightly concerning, that's all.

Players looked bored, exhausted, frustrated and unhappy first half. No shots and no passes. Second half, 3 at the back, and we looked completely happy- dominated, passed the ball well, made chances and looked like a reasonable team . Surely that must be the way forward?

Bit better second half but still a shadow of the team we were. Too many players not doing it, for whatever reasons. When Foley came to the club, him and Neal were fantastic, why's he on the bench? Bennett won a few headers but they completely lacked direction. The confidence in the team is rock bottom and it is up to the manager to re-instill that. We will still be in L2 come the end of the season, I've no doubt, but if we don't get at least one attacking centre/midfield, a proper striker and at least one defender who enjoys the battle, we might not be in it for long.

I'm not one for slating the management or players unnecessarily. Just putting that out there before I comment.

But I tend to agree that sometimes Pete can claim we have played well when most people would say we haven't. Take Saturday for example. His view was vastly different from the majority of supporters, as evidenced by the comments on here and the phone in with Adam.

I don't always agree with the way we play either, long balls and head tennis, for example. I think it's a perfectly valid point to raise that maybe it's time for a brutally honest assessment and a change of system from the manager, rather than stubbornly continuing with the set up. Tonight showed that we at least looked better in a different shape.

I have faith that Pete Wild will figure this out and see us right. Long term project and all that.

I agree three at the back worked well. I think the poor form of Warren made other players nervous as they were unsure about him. Once he was subbed the whole side looked much happier and although we got nothing the second half was much better.

My worry is I’m going to Bradford on Saturday - If they score first I might as well not bother. Is it a mental thing? other than Mansfield we just can’t comeback from going behind. Prove me wrong lads.

5 year contract is a big stumbling block if at some point a change of manager is needed.

Don’t get me wrong PW comes across as a really decent person, but on current form most clubs would have got rid.

Only my opinion before you all want to slate me.

Thought it was interesting tonight what Pete Wild said when asked about the commitment of some of the players when asked by Adam and replied saying he,d rather not say.Could it be that some of our players whose contracts are about to run out have been offered bigger salaries.in provisional offers by other clubs and therefore are no longer prepared to.fully commit in a tackle in case they get injured.Just a thought as our team now looks like a shadow of it's former self, where some of our players are standing off the opposition instead of tackling them.

Respect your opinion .. But I doubt many clubs in our position" would have got rid." Manager and club are learning and in it togeather along with us fans. Its really mind blowing how people suggest always getting rid of a manager when the going gets tough. This isnt a game of FIFA. lol. Crazy 2023 world of football loyalty. Just get on with it dont we.?
