I have just watched the extended highlights. For our second goal, the ball falls to Foley in space to the right of the goal. Instead of having a shot, which am sure most players would do, he calmly sidefoots the ball back to Proctor on the edge of the box. His shot leads to the goal.

First question from my Bradford mate when he called last night: 'Can we have Canavan back, please?' Apart from calling us 'dirty Lancashire b******s' (which is a given in any conversation ) he reckoned we've a squad with all the qualities to make the top 3: competitive, gritty, a tight team spirit and a good sprinkling of skill. I can't believe I've still got the bragging rights!

What a great performance yesterday. Epic. I’ve been critical at times but credit due here - I really feel something is building. Some quality touches for both goals , and the players’ celebration showed how they felt . Magnificent.

I joined the Bantams forum.... having read their “ shouldn’t be getting beat by teams like Barrow” I pointed out that Conference North has many teams that were ‘ too big to go down! ‘. Happy days.

I love the way they are slagging off PW and our style of play - happy with that, as it means they won’t try to poach him when Alexander fails (although, to be fair, some earlier posters on their forum thought PW spoke well in the post match interview)
