Anybody know where Farmans gone to.

Talk of him going to Fylde but nothing seems to have happened yet. At 35, he may decide to call it a day, although goalkeepers do tend to go on a bit longer sometimes! Maybe a goalkeeping coach position might be of interest to him.

It has occurred to me that as Stanway started his football career as a centre back, we might have a bit of a gem here. He obviously has the build and stamina to perform at this level as a goalkeeper so could he not be coached to play centre back and either play in that position if needed or be a super sub and cover both goalkeeper and centre back positions from the bench.

No reason why Stanway and Winterbottom can't each get plenty of games. I remember many moons ago, when they had a decent team, Workington had both John Burridge and Mike Rogan on their books, with both getting games.

Need to see both in preseason. Stanway would be front runner for me but remember back in the day we signed Tim Deasy and another keeper who was going to be number 1 Tim had a cracking pre season and don’t think the other guy ever featured. Tomlinson then came in to challenge him

He looked decent against Preston.
