We were lucky to get promoted last season when the football on show was very poor and we went all season requiring a strong midfielder. We are still in that position now. Football on show is very poor. Edmo has recruited badly. His tactics and team selections are poor. His substitutions leave us all baffled. Why isent newby on the bench at least? Why do we bring an 18 year old lacking match fitness into the squad when we have 6 players on the wage bill sat in the stands. All is not well off the pitch. All is not well on the pitch either. Why don't we attack teams? Why do we try to preserve a 1 goal lead? The relegation battle starts today. Anyone who thinks we are better than relegation then give your head a good wobble. Football is [SwearFilter] poor. Someone please remind me what Leo keeps writing.....

Not felt this depressed following Barrow for a long time, total collapse, hope Williams (CD) ban is up now as we need pace in there, many things confusing us all all ATM & well documented on here, Trying to find the positives but its getting harder, Anyhow as Strange as football can be we will probably win on Saturday now.

Shocking feel sorry for Dixon. Having some erratic perfermances in goal dover and today he ll get there in the end hopefully.

I won't wait till we have played 12 games. I've seen enough already. I can't see anything changing.

I think we see now why grand has won 4 conf north titles on the bounce - deffo not up to national league standed, Williams has to start the next game

It's all good people saying Edmo out, but nobody is naming a boss too come in! A boss that you would ( realistically ) bring in and give a 3 year deal too? Hard naming the top 10 in this division as it would change 10 games in!

I think there would be a few who think we are a much more of an attraction compared to 3 years ago when we had no resources.

I think Ashton will be furious with himself when he sees that. Who was marking Burrow though?! I'm more interested to see how they scored their first, sounded like a lack of communication.

The next manager is Paul Murray - surely that's obvious?
Even so, there are very few teams in the division where the fans are happy with their manager - Hurst at Grimsby, for example, seems to be getting more stick, and Brabin at Tranmere is hated already! Not saying we should stick by Edmo no matter what, but a knee-jerk won't help anyone.

With regards to Newby, he doesn't look ready for a start to me, but definitely a game changer for the bench. Symington offers more cover for other positions though, so that's probably the reason he made the cut. I can't believe that there were no changes to the line-up though - possibly tiredness is the reason for the late collapse? (I wasn't there, I was at work, but sounds like heads dropped after a mistake for the first one?)
