Andy Wood on RC reckons the sponsors spend more time watching what they order at the bar. He'd give it to Dunne.
I wanted to give it dunne but he was at fault for the goal and at that point was leading us to a 1-0 defeat.

Half the team were shite tbh, Jones looked to get forward when he could, put some good balls in good areas and defended well.

The rare times I listen to Andy Wood I sometimes suspect RC spend more time watching something other than the football themselves so...
Dunn distraught at the end. He may be raw and make the odd mistake but by God, I'd take a few more with his character at the minute!!

Aii as I said in the other thread...
Ste Story wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2017 3:58 pm Jimmy Dunne is our best defender IMO and he's only 19 and on loan, so lets not write this lad off just yet, see how he plays first eh?
New lad was OK today tbh, quiet but that's what you want from your centre backs. Loved when he floored their player in the first half

Thompson looked reasonably composed at the back. Byron took his goal well. We still seem a hard team to beat. About the only positives I can think of.

Something seems wrong at the club.

Why wasn't Mokoma on the bench? Least of our worries like but seems a strange decision.

Far too many changes over summer and a completely new team that has not gelled and today we we're very lucky to get a point. We are not creating anywhere near enough chances to win games.

There's no easy answer with this one.

Try Radio Lonsdale - they paint they paint the picture much better.

Pathetic display. The man of the match award should have been withheld because no-one deserved any credit for that performance. Totally inept. Sorry but Moore has to go.
Just say no to VAR :sentoff:

I do feel a bit sorry for Moore. Seems like a decent bloke and who wouldn't jump at the prospect of job promotion. However it's becoming obvious that he's not the right man but could be the cheapest.

It's not so bad if your team do badly but they try their hearts out. Disappointing but forgivable.
Sadly this afternoon, for the first time for a few seasons most of the players didn't seem up for it. The bite in midfield was totally absent (come back asap ARH, and Parry). Unfortunately Harrison looks frightened of going into a physical confrontation, with or without the ball. Plainly he's not match fit. Yusseff is injury prone.
It's a mess, but I wonder how much of it is Moore's fault. Unluckily for him he may have to take the responsibility (not being taken on full time). The players really need to look at their individual and collective attitude in the next few games to prove they are up for it.

Really poor today, Torquay's 3 forwards pinned Jones and Barthram as full-backs which gave us no attacking out-lets. I don't understand why we waited to half-time to change the shape. We were asking Jones to defend his winger and also cover the full length of the pitch and create our chances as well.
The goal was a poor one to concede. There's a reason why Cox's teams throw the ball down the line and the keeper always kicks it over the half-way line, it prevents goals like that.
Credit to Moussa for the equalizer, on one leg his presence alone helped create the goal and a cool finish from Byron.
