Yes he wasn't my first choice either, but it has been obvious which way this was going for the last 2-3 games, Talk of not going anymore Oh BOO HOO, don't go then.- The rest- Let's get behind him and the team. We've got some really tough games coming up with a depleted team and they need all the support we can give.
5 minutes or 6 games?

Whichever way you want to look at it - figure of speech. You decide.

1 win from 6 games against mostly poor sides.

MikeRenney wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2017 5:14 pm Underwhelmed by the appointment but as previous posters said will be at the next home game. I can only wish the guy well and hope he can turn around a very tricky situation.
Until the injuries the defence looked solid enough but not so sure now. The midfield seems very weak to me and so do the forwards. I can not imagine what MM can do to improve players such as Harry P who is one paced and that one is not quick.
Let's not forget himself Cox and ogden were all involved in bringing these "better players " in I feel I've been mugged!
We should have appointed holty done a Paul Simpson and the fans would have backed him 100%
Now as soon as things go wrong on the pitch Moore will get crucified the Board have messed up big time!

Easy Nige, I think all Tom is saying is come Saturday those that make the journey to Sutton will be fully behind the team and coaching staff and rightly so!!

Lets get behind the team yes not the appointment many of us wanted but lets give him a chance. He has been terribly unlucky with injuries and we wait to see if him and ogden are allowed to bring anyone their own players in come you blue birds

really, his only negative so far is that he lacks a little bit of luck when it comes to refereeing decisions and the injury side of things.
What about one win from 6 games?

Never known this great club of ours so divided in 40+ years of supporting them. It wasn't supposed to be like this, was it? Broken promises compounded by mistake after mistake and never learning from them, nepotism, a complete disregard mixed with a certain arrogance towards supporters has led to all this.
I will still be going to support the team but not for 1 minute do i support the Casson's in the way they are currently running the club. BTID

He wasnt many peoples first choice and not mine, but what do we do?
We can complain all we want it wont change anything.
All we can now do is get behind him and the team and the club we love and hope this rollercoaster ride takes an upward turn.
Now more than ever we have to be the twelfth man

Jonty I usually enjoy reading your posts, you seem to me to be a voice of logic but I really don't understand your comments. I don't think anyone is surprised, just disappointed in the appointment. I have no issue with MM personally, but he has been given a 6 game job interview and has done really poorly against some poor teams. The team didn't play for him Saturday and he doesn't strike me as someone who will take the club forward. It looks to me that the club want Ogden to be director of football and deal with recruitment etc. and then have a head coach - I just cant see this working at our level. Are you honestly happy with the direction of the club? in my short lifetime I think the club have messed up 2 great opportunities to progress I). post Wembley, boro and sunderland. ii). This season after the fantastic season last year.

As for staying fans shouldn't go, I have been consistent across many threads that this view is so backwards, the club should engage fans and we should never be saying to fellow supporters 'don't go', we need every person we can, we don't have the luxury of pushing fans away.

All been said and done, now is the time to support the lads.

As stated a page back, I think the time is coming for a vocal opposition to Andrew Casson as MD.

Fans are not letting the club down, nor the players - it's the guy sitting in the directors box.
