Watched the game again this morning.
Agree, not a pen but bloody hell look where the ref is, then the 2 arms go up......referee would say pen every day of the week.
Red card.....well its a red card and I have no idea why Alexander was complaining. Reckless challenge that was almost 2 footed.
We should of won by more goals. But what entertainment the boys provided...
Great game for the national league, hope the cameras come back soon.
For Salford, Pond is clearly past it and Rooney......What a waste of money....

The amount of money he's on is irrelevant to his ability but somebody who has scored 17 goals is certainly not a waste of money. I'm sure if his goals take them into the football league they will think it is anything but a waste of money!

Well done Barrow. We (Wrexham) played Salford a few days before you, and they where made to look like a sunday league team, so I wasn't surprised, you also put one over them. Hope you keep your good form going, and get a result at AFC Fylde next, after that you have, on paper, some easier games, and maybe a push towards the play-offs, good luck. Always will have a soft spot for The Bluebirds, having been a regular on the then covered, Holker End during my time in the yard, way back in the seventies.

This one went our way, the one against Fylde didn’t. It’s what makes the game what it is and unless VAR is introduced at every level then it will always part of the game.

VAR doesn't make any difference in cases like this - there were equally bad decisions made at the World Cup, after all. What I think is wrong is that the concept of accidental handball seems to have gone out of the window. All the ref has to decide is whether there was intent, and in this incident there clearly wasn't, and that was quite obvious in real time as well.

I agree. He was a very good target man when he was last at Barrow. However, I doubt whether we would be able to afford his wages now.
