The National League may yet be played to a finish later this summer.
Check it out on the BBC sport webpage

That is the article that quotes Evatt as saying he doesn't want the season “null and void”. True, but with that he went on to say that this season’s placings should be determined on current standings as 80% of games have been played. The article falls short of that and implies that in some way Evo wants to pick up and resume the season at some point. Poorly worded article in that respect and one of many that is coming out with a similar theme today.

No Jonty that is the Daily Mail Article

The BBC article states that the league themselves are keen for the season to continue and all games to be completed.

It still implies further down the BBC article that playing again this season is something that Evatt/Barrow would like to see happening. I dont believe he or the club has ever said this.

Watching the news tonight, these National League Executives need to recognise that no football will be played for a very long time as the world battles this disease.

Last time I checked Jonty
Ian Evatt wasn’t the co-chairman and owner of Yeovil Town

Well I’m reading that title “Consensus to complete season”, followed by “Ian Evatt doesn't want the season to be null and void” and then it goes into an article by the Yeovil Chairman to get “the league completed whenever that may be”

Maybe its me. But to me that article implies that Evatt shares the same view as Yeovil in how to complete the season, which I don't think is the case.
