Other than 10 minutes after the teams changed, that was a bit of a shambles. Lots of work to be done. Definitely look short of at least one other striker.

Defo need another friendly or two organising so DD can start his strongest 11 and start looking at what we are going to start with. Giving game time to poor players and trialists who clearly ain’t arsed about us ain’t doing anyone any favours.

We still need at least 2/3 L2 level signings in my opinion. A striker or two and a player who can open up a team, Gribbin looks like he ain’t interested one bit!!

All today has done has made me worry we are way behind where we should be...... no doubt the usual “it’s all about fitness etc” excuses will come but winning breeds winning. Put teams to the sword regardless of friendly or not.

Regarding starting eleven, it has to be much the same as the team that finished. I am happy with the new signings, apart from Gribbin. Really struggling to see how we can be a threat up front without Quigley, so praying for another signing!

Not too many positives from that Barrow performance. Brown 1st half standout. Wouldn’t want any of the trialists personally apart from the keeper. Expected more from Gribbin but early days.
Looked better 2nd half for about 10 mins after changed team. Happy for Hindle getting on the scoresheet.

Very poor from us today we need more quality signings I wouldn't sign any of the trialists apart from the keeper bin the rest of them and yeh gribbin doesn't look upto it lets hope we have at least 2 or 3 signings lined up with plenty of league experience and hopefully a proven goal scorer

Danns looked like the kind of lad who thinks he can boss it because he played in the EPL. Him and Gribbin were about the worst 2 on the park. Gribbin needs to get his head into where he's at or the downward trend could continue - got ability, but needs to want it.

Reasonably entertaining game. They had some decent players and worked hard. Looked a lot better than last time we played them. We looked a bit sloppy at times. Not as an accomplished performance as the Blackpool game and seemed to rush things a bit. Definitely need a forward alongside Quigley. Penfold looked a lot better than the previous glimpses we've seen of him and looks to have filled out a bit. Hard to draw any conclusions.
