It was £1 for the start of the season which is sufficient. £2.50 is excessive for first class post not signed for. It's £5 for that.

If the club are charging £2.50 ,isn,t that what you have to pay to send a letter recorded delivery?If they are doing that it will be to make sure whoever buys one of these tickets actually gets it especially if they live out of town.Just putting a first class stamp on it and not sending it recorded delivery would be totally wrong,unless the club is actually charging each customer over £1 for every envelope they send the tickets out in.The club will probably tell you that it is an administration fee for addressing each envelope
putting a stamp on it and then posting it as each one will probably have to be done individually.

I'm all for the club making money, but not in this case.If fans request an away ticket to be posted as they live too far away for collection then £1 is sufficient for first class post.
In most cases tickets are available on the day for a £2 extra charge, so why pay £2.50 postage with the possibility that it might not arrive. This does happen as I well know with my season ticket.

Mine arrived in York today, can believe people are moaning about paying £2.50 for the posting of tickets, there again we are talking people from Barrow. I haven’t lived there for over thirty years and could still moan for England. It’s a trait l still suffer with after all these years.

They are not sending them recorded delivery and are just putting a first class stamp on them, or at least they did with mine. It's £5 for the recorded delivery option.

In the grand scheme of things it's not a massive deal and I doubt it's causing anyone any hardship. They are still taking the [SwearFilter] charging that much though.
