Another Brilliant result must have got our second breath, was mentioned by Gazza we looked knackered in the first half, up to 2nd what a great start to the season really hope we can get 4,000+ v Leyton Orient next Saturday a long trip for them but it`s a top of the league clash so hopefully a couple of hundred from them, Good day for Josh Gordon but yet again a booking(Getting like Josh Kay last Season) on 4 now 1 away from a game ban, only downside on the day. And thank you Pete Wild for giving Stuart Metcalfe a mention in your post-match interview was nice to hear from the Club. James Phillips on Radio Cumbria not for the first time saying it`s ludicrous Barrow are 3rd in the league well Mr Phillips we are now 2nd, put that in your pipe and smoke it.

When we played them in their first season in the conference I'm sure they brought over 400

I'M so proud of this team, after last season what a transformation unbelievable surely well over 4,000 next week there's no Premier league!

Nige, if the turnstiles aren't closed and the "house full" signs posted outside the ground before 3pm next Saturday then there needs to be a clinical study into the mental state of the Barrow public . . . at least all of those who claim that they like soccer. At the end of the day, 2nd from top vs an unbeaten top team is the stuff of sporting dreams. Only three or four years ago you would have been taken away in the van if you said this encounter would be coming up in September 2022.

I'm just relieved I have my season ticket and I don't have to camp out overnight next Friday to get a good place in the queue. It ought to be a bit like the big cup matches of the 60's where people were literally clinging on for their lives from half way up the floodlight pylons in a sardinesque Holker Street - - - mind you, that was the old floodlight pylons which were climbable if you had a head for heights; I wouldn't recommend trying that on our new poles.

I’d just like to apologise to Josh Gordon. Last season under Cooper I just thought he was a better version of Luke James; i.e worked his nads off but didn’t do a lot more and that we needed someone starting in his place for us to do well this season. Fair play since going central under Wild and gaining better service from likes of Whitfield he is a different player, long may it continue!

Another great result (I predicted 0-2, so chuffed with that). Listened to it on iFollow as I am out of the RC area. The fella with Adam (Chris Beard?) chose Josh Gordon as his MoM because he scored the goals, but he gave a special mention to Niall Canavan. Sounds like he was rock solid, as he was on Tuesday night. Unlike the last two seasons, I am not panicking every time the opposition gets the ball, as I am confident that we will defend it. Once again, after a slow start we grew into the game and seemed fitter than the opposition. Sounds like Newport County are in trouble - their fans were very unhappy.
Really looking forward to next week. Who would have imagined this in March? 2nd v 1st… As it is an international weekend, is the match being shown live on iFollow? (I can’t get up to Barrow otherwise I would be there).

Last year he was indeed not more than a slightly better version of Luke James which just shows what difference playing with a decent manager and better players can do for some players. He is unrecognisable from last season's player.
