I've not been involved in the cladding as been busy in other areas of the ground with 64
Its been a tremendous effort chaps, and it looks great. Well done and thanks to all those involved.
Ian, were there any sheets left over? Could we use cladding in other areas of the ground? Save on painting etc

Well done to everyone involved not only in the cladding - which looks superb - but also all the other work which has been done during the summer. I'm looking forward to seeing it all in the flesh, so to speak, at the first home league game of the season.

There were & we're looking at where the left over sheets & some new ones could be used, West terrace for one as this is just covered in the same type of (rotting) plywood.
Another one that's been mentioned is the X bar end on that low wall as the people who stand there get the worst of the weather when it turns bad. The sheeting would be 2.4 meters high the same as before.
We thought we'd ask the question seeing as it's been so well met on the HSE - would anyone be willing to pay £100 for a plaque down that end of the ground, same conditions & rules as before. We're obviously looking for people who actually stand down there but it's open to anyone
We think it'd help improve that end of the ground as much as it's improved the HSE.
Just testing the water on this one, PM or replies on here please.

if the crossbar end gets the go ahead, are we building the wall up to 8 ft and cladding just the bit away from the building
if this is the case, it would only be about 30 metres so around 800 quid for cladding, just 8 donations for plaques would rubber stamp it!!
would be a tremendous windbreak and would look fantastic, and maybe a the crossbar end or the old steelworks end sign and around 8 plaques...your thoughts

Could we not have a barrowafc.net sign down the crossbar end as most of the monies pledged and raised have come through our superb forum, and so the club is not left out, we could also have a barrowafc.com one o the other end......maybe groups of fans could pledge smaller amounts towards these and the materials...as before....the limits are endless.......give us some other ideas...remember , 1 new years day dip, could keep you warm down there all season!!!!

Lancaster Branch is the latest to ask for a plaque on the HSE - way over what we expected but we'll still take more
We agreed the design of the HOLKER STREET END sign this week with Graphix Sign's (looks very good) transport will be the next problem. Does anyone hve a small van or even a car with a roof rack capable of taking theses to the ground when finished? There's no real weight in them but there's two of them at 10' x 30"

I've got about 25 tins of gloss paint I need shifting from my workshop if you want. All litre and 500ml and dark and garish colours.
Can have them as soon as this afternoon.

Thanks Ben, do they need picking up or can you drop them off?
