You'd be wrong because I also think he's been excellent. And there's still the young lad Burns that we haven't seen much of yet.

Cant see taylor going out on loan. Penfold and Wilson would be 2 I would say that will be available in the loan market. Too many left footed left CB (not sure wilson is at the level required just yet) will keep hird as a right hand sided option if james jones gets injured.

Wilson's been good so far - apart from struggling to get through the whole 90 mins against Colchester - but that's probably due to not having played anything other than under 23 football before. He may still go out on loan when Brough and Platt are both fit though - just to build his fitness up a bit more - but i can't see him loaned out long term.
I think Taylor, Penfold, Hird and Hindle (assuming we sign a forward) will go out on loan.
I can also see Josh Kay playing further forward this season at least in games where we play a back 4.

Absolutely, no point whatsoever in bringing someone in just for the sake of adding another striker. I suppose every club is after exactly what we’re after.

Hindle must be another who could be going out on loan, especially if DD does find the elusive striker he’s after.

To be honest yes I've listened to DD interviews on RC on one occasion when asked about a striker ,he actually said how do you know we have not got a striker already at the club,think we all know the answer to that.
He is his own man but lacks clarity making statements like that.
Adding Zouma does not address the scoring problem but probably upset Evatt .

DD doesn't do cryptic very well. But he could of course be alluding to the fact that he may already have come to some form of agreement possibly with a previous employer regarding a loan deal for a decent young striker. I promise not to faint if we end up with another Blackburn under 23 starlet as and when Rovers are in a position to send these guys out.

Until that point, I would have thought that Hindle might stay given that DD personally approved his contract extension. Not the case for Sam Hird who could be loaned out simply because of the number of alternative defensive options. I do think events have been a little harsh on him but I do think hes one who you'd identify as an Evatt "pick". With Jason Taylor depends whether he wants to perpetuate whats left of his career at a lower level. But might be worth considering bringing him into the coaching set up.

Yes think Sam Hird was brought in because of Evatt as was Byron Harrison having known Evatt from his Chesterfield days.
Jason Taylor reminds me of Daren Sheridan later on plenty of effort but showing his age and poor timing.
