What will we hear from our glorious leader this week?

"players are gonna run 50 miles every day this week"
"some players aren't good enough - and they know who they are. They'll be dropped"
"3 mystery players will sign for us in a minute"
"next week is a must win game"

I've had enough of DB's same-old-same-old.

I question his tactics - always have since Shez left.
I question his man-management/motivational skills.
I question his ability to change a game.
I question his ability to keep us in this league.

I understand we're skint - that doesn't affect the above points except maybe the 4th.

I think it's time for a change.

At least he has the balls to speak to the media while things aren't going well. Unlike those above him.

Sorry but I agree with DB. I'm not in the Bayliss out camp just yet but I can see me going that way. Today was pathetic. 798 attendance suggests something's now right...

Even if sacking Bayliss was the right thing to do in a football sense, we simply cannot afford to.

We're in the wrong division for the club right now.

If I were in charge, I would try to loan as many players out as possible because on gates of <800 we simply can't afford the ones we currently have.

We should accept relegation because even if we stay up somehow, it will harm the club more than it will help it.

Loan as many out as possible, go back to part time status and just try to keep from total financial meltdown.

Just been listening to his usual drivel on RC.

Before he came on Andy Wood and some callers were questioning why Bayliss only played one up front. So why wasn't Bayliss challenged about it? It was the one question that wasn't asked!

I understand what you mean by getting relegated but we should never 'accept' relegation, especially after 4 games as what is the point of turning up. We might as well send a letter of resignation to the Conference and give up.

Yes it might do us better to go back one step to give us an opportunity to go forward two steps but is that the only option?

I would say no, I would say that there are surely improvements that can be made to the club and team as we are to to give us the opportunity to go forwards. Unfortunately, I am not intelligent enough to know what these are with confidence but let us be a bit more positive and not give up on everything just yet.

We can't afford to be in this division. It's as simple as that.

The longer we stay in it, the more damage it will do.

We got 800 fans in today. Even if we some how manage to miraculously average 1000 for the season, how much money will we lose if we keep the current squad at the club?

It's pretty simple economics.

That is fair enough but I ain't giving up hope we will be fine, naive I know but sometimes hope is we all we have.

On that note maybe one of those 800 will win the lottery tonight

I've heard she's been having a lot of fun and keeping players morale up.

I'm as [SwearFilter] off as you, but you seem to be thriving off it at the minute. Its real, its not about entertaining yourself by stirring things up, or about scoring points. If we're in serious trouble there isn't any pleasure to be derived from it, but I do get the impression that you're almost enjoying it in some way. Maybe I'm reading it wrong but thats how its coming across to me.

You are definitely reading it wrong.

I'm not loving it, or trying to stir anyone up.

People will no doubt have a go at me, or think I am just trying to stir but none of them have yet come up with any proposals of how we can get out of this current mess.

It's easy to accuse someone of being negative, or to accuse them of stirring, especially if you don't want to face up to hard facts.

So I'll ask you, what would you do right now to i)ensure we avoid relegation this year and ii)avoid financial meltdown?

Do you think it's possible to do both on gates of <1000? If you do, I would be genuinely interested in hearing how.

If you really think I'm so petty, you don't know me very well.

I couldn't give a toss if I'm proved wrong, it's irrelevant and I'm also not an 'I told you so' type of person.

There are loads of things that can be done to eventually make us a bigger and stronger club but they all take time and that's something I fear we don't have a lot of right now.

I'll say the same as I said to Kieran, if you think I'm enjoying this in any way, then you're badly mistaken. If I wanted the club to fail, why would I bother turning up to matches? Why would I pay £10 every time we get an attendance lower than 1000? Why would I go to most of the BDF events? Why would I traipse the to Hyde on a Tuesday night and spend ~£100 when I'm out of work?

I post things that people don't like reading. I get that but please, don't accuse me of wanting the club to fail, just so I can be 'proved right' because you couldn't be further from the truth.
