Does anyone think we can pick up our first home win against the plastic Scouse hoofball merchants or will we get Jimmy Saviled by them? I fancy us to get a point at least, unsure of a win though now the games getting closer.

Was going to state the obvious.

Barrow 1 (almond) Southport 1 (almond)...but think their almond injured so 1-0 to the bluebirds

The over-riding No.1 mother-of-all show-stopping priorities tonight will be to be on HIGH ALERT from the first whistle. We don’t want to be 2-0 down again before we start to play as seems to be the norm lately.

No pressure on the young lad then AB. Do the rest of the team just lump it to him and hope for the best.

There's no doubt about it, he's the stand out player in the team. He's won games single-handedly in the past. Obviously the rest of the team have to put in a good shift as Southport are no pushovers.

Edit: Danny Hurst is an absolute gem of a 'keeper, too.
