Barrow have signed young Wrexham striker nick rushton on loan until January 1st

With dale Johnson going back to Halifax in a week Bayliss has moved to replace him.


Can't get my head around that at all, a very capable forward in Gareth arnison rotting away on the bench while we bring in loan players.

If anything needed improving surely its our week as [SwearFilter] defence?

I saw Gareth Arnison 'in action' v Brackley, okay it wasn't a good day for football but he was totally anonymous and never showed for anything all day.

Arnison isn't going to get any better sat on the bench is he?

He needs playing time, then once his confidence is up, he'll start banging them in.

Seems highly thought of by many Wrexham fans. Made 15 appearances (inc subs) last season for a team who reached Prem.play-offs and up against the likes of Wright Morrell,Ormerod and Bishop thats not bad for a young lad who has come through their youth set-up. One fan even rates him higher at this stage than the striker they sold to Wolves for £200k yesterday.Can't fathom the Arnison situation out but remember fans are not party to all that goes on on the training ground etc.Anyway you can never have enough strikers.

Wow... have we signed someone who can set up these chances for him 'cos present set up aren't capable of it

Gareth will be the top scorer just needs game time and chances he will deliver no doubt about it. This is a complete new team and we need to be patient all he needs to do is repeat what he has dne in the past 4 seasons.

Pointed out in one of the match commentaries, that when we signed Arnison a Workington director said he was very frustrated by that fact he scored most of his goals from the penalty spot. If that is the case he will not score as many goals as people think he will given the number of penalties we usually get. Although we have already surpassed last years total penalty count in the BPA game if memory serves me correctly.

Rushton will hopefully provide some energy up front like Allen and we can get Arnison and Bowen involved a bit more. Assuming the FA confirm the loan.

I think you'll be bang on Tilly trotter I liked look of him pre season and will do well once he gets a run going
