I think it was intended that he would carry out those duties for 6 months and as he has a business to run, and living in Southport, it wasn't a long term position as I understand it.
He has worked hard in the time he held that position and made sure he attended all the away games, having to go into work at 5 and 6am before attending them.
Thanks to him for his efforts.

Good bloke, worked hard and the club really got under his skin in a good way I think.

Hope he stays on in some capacity and continues to enjoy it.

Thanks Jamie

I have met Jamie Reid on a few occasions at home and away, he is a great ambassador for the club and will always stop for a moment and shake my hand. All the very best Jamie in 2015. RESPECT!

Jamie has quickly became a popular chap at the club, always willing to listen and an all round good egg!
Shame we will not be seeing quite as much of him about the place, and good luck in your interiors business.
Going to be a hard act to follow Mr Casson, I do hope your up to it! ;)

First met him early on this year & right from the start he seemed like "a kid in a sweet shop" with his role. I'm really glad he is carrying on in a director capacity as he does seem to have taken the club & supporters to heart & I think that the supporters have the same view of him, a very approachable bloke.

I think it was only ever going to be a short term role for him as it must've taken a lot out of him travelling to every home & away game (I think he also made it to all the friendlies) & taking the leading role in the first couple of months after the takeover, especially with his & his partner's business to help run.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
